We are pleased to offer the
patented 3SIXTY technology for private
label production. 3Sixty's strategic
partnership with a top-tier Nike/ReeBok
certified factory in Korea allows a quick turnaround of
approximately 250,000 caps per week. 3Sixty can
manufacture the 3SIXTY cap in any custom
configuration and size utilizing a low, medium, or high profile
crown together with a precurved or flat brim. In
addition, cap fabrication is available in wool, wool
blends, cotton, cotton blends, leather, suede, and
synthetics. Whether for sport or fashion, 3Sixty has an
excellent design and production staff that can work with you to
develop the best graphics and logo application for your market
in any form of embroidery, applique, or print.
3SIXTY
technologies are covered by basic US patent no.
5,471,684 issued by the United States Patent
& Trademark Office on October 19, 1993 and granted on December
5, 1995. Subsequent patents no. 5,715,534,
6,263,508, 6,789,267, 7,240,373 and
RE38,774 were awarded for improvements made to the
'684 patent. All patents, along
3Sixty's broadly defined claims, mean that if
you manufacture a cap or visor with an elongated band
or track attached to the lower periphery of the cap or visor, and
the brim includes a mating connector that is adapted to engage the
said elongated band or track on the lower periphery of the cap
or visor, so that the brim can be moved along the longitudinal
circumference of the periphery of the cap or visor, then you fall
within the scope of 3Sixty's intellectual property. In simpler
terms, 3Sixty's patents include the design and manufacture of
any hat that consists of a movable sliding brim and
allows rotation along the periphery of a cap.
As an ongoing commitment to
protecting 3Sixty's customers and establishing a
significant value-added presence in the headwear
market, 3Sixty has retained the services of both private
investigators and attorneys in the U.S. and overseas who
will vigorously prosecute anyone engaged in the
infringement of it's patents. This will ensure a generous
margin for both distributors and private label accounts and
forge long-term relationships with all strategic
partners.
Please contact our sales
department and provide us with your design and we
will gladly sample a 3SIXTY cap to your
specifications.
A
FEW FACTS
The 3SIXTY cap utilizes an exclusive proprietary "floating"
track and visor mechanism, whereby the wearer can adjust the lateral
position of the visor while the crown body of the cap remains
stationary. This lateral movement of the visor can be accomplished
in either direction about the circumference of the cap by simply
sliding the brim with ease around the periphery of the cap with one
hand as the cap is being worn. The advantages are clear:
1) the all-important logo remains visible on the front of the cap
regardless of the position of the visor,
2) unobstructed vertical vision and the elimination of blind
spots is obtainable without the necessity to remove the cap, and
3) sunlight and glare can be shielded in any direction by
repositioning of the visor.
Although conceived on the premise of visual functionality in
improving a baseball player's on-field advantage, other utility
applications are of great interest to many sporting industries,
including those in tennis, golf, hunting, fishing, auto-racing, or
any activity where a movable visor may improve line-of-sight.
Another market that has received an unprecedented response to the
3SIXTY cap is in urban/hip-hop fashions. Over the past decade,
generation Y has popularized the wearing of a cap with the visor
pointed sideways, backwards, or any which way. 3SIXTY
headgear is fast becoming a fashion outlet for people of all ages
who want to articulate a cool attitude, a fun feeling, or whatever
state of mind and being in a unique sense of
self-expression.
3Sixty Innovations further recognizes long-term market objectives
for 3Sixty by augmenting 3SIXTY's product offerings with the
introduction of removable brims, multi-brim embodiments, visor caps,
and more.
3SIXTY
has no boundaries...........stay tuned.
